I spotted a website called Zabaware that offers free chatterbot for your own website. The artificial intelligent representative called Hal will run on their server, and you will be able to link to it from your web page. There will be a banner ad (460×60 pixels) shown during a conversation with your AI representative.

I have tried the Hal bot, its highly customisable and is more intelligent than other free Chatterbots. You can even use it to provide live customer support by prefetching queries using your own online control panel. It supports HTML responses and has learning capabilities also.
