Mac OS x86 :: Coming Soon to a PC Near You

Hackers have reportedly ported the popular Mac OSX to the Intel x86 platform. This ported version, which can be run either through VMWare or be installed natively to your hard drive, is a patched version of the latest Mac OSX installment - Tiger.

Apple uses a TPM chip which locks OS X on their Hardware. The hackers managed to bypass the TPM chip requirement in the patched up OS, allowing the OS to run on regular PCs. The shocking part is that the Mac OS has been reported to be running faster on Intel processors than on the native PowerPC platform. SSE2 is a minimum requirement but SSE3 (supported by the prescott range) will be required for some additional applications.
