Google Analytics
Remember Urchin, the web statistics provider that Google bought some time back. Google seem to have followed the Keyhole-Google Earth conversion path and have made Urchin’s powerful tools freely accessible. What’s the catch ? You may ask ! Well, nothing is evident yet. This gives me an opportunity to venture a few guesses.
Google Analytics provides a very powerful collection of tools, graphs, charts, breakups, etc… Google Analytics is already integrated with Adwords, Google’s advertising program for advertisers, but integration with AdSense would be even more interesting. For one, it would allow for better geo-targeting of advertisements based on worldwide traffic coming to a website, and much more. Anyway, I’m going to try out this tool for a little while longer and report after some time.
And once again, it gives some people an opportunity to say that Google is trying to steal our data, this time our web site statistics, becuase the number of webmasters is increasing daily with the advent of easy to use blogging tools like Blogger, WordPress, etc…

well, there’s a limit of 5 million pageviews to those users who don’t have an AdWords account!!
That wouldn’t exclude many people though!!
