$3 domains, Yahoo!

Yahoo! is continuing its offering, and you can still grab a .com, .net, .org, .us, .biz, or .info domain from Yahoo! for just $2.99/year(for upto 5 years). However, as stated on Yahoo!, this offer will expire on January 25th, 2006. So you have just 26 days, if you’ve been thinking about getting some domains for cheap(and/or longer period of time), now is the time!!

There’s one huge catch - you can use only Yahoo web hosting!

Web Hosting and Merchant Solutions discount offers are open to new customers that purchase Web Hosting Starter or Merchant Solution Starter plans and apply for 3 months after which the then current monthly or annual fees will be charged. Domains, Web Hosting, and Merchant Solutions discount fee offers expire on and must be redeemed prior to 3/8/2006. No other notice of the expiration of this Offer will be given. All offers are open to new Yahoo! Small Business customers only, and are only available through Yahoo! Small Business. Customers are limited to one Offer per customer on a single account for customer’s own purchase only and is non-transferable, and may not be combined with other offers and discounts, exchanged or redeemed for cash. Other terms and conditions apply; see the Yahoo! Small Business Terms of Service when you sign up. Yahoo! expressly reserves the right to change the price or features of these services in its sole discretion at any time.

Well, they might’ve imposed that restriction now, it wasn’t there earlier when they were giving it for $2 & then $3. Besides, you can’t blame them, literally they are incurring a loss of $3 per domain!! ;)

There may be a misinterpretation with what I have mentioned above. It may still be possible that these are domains over which one has full control.

well, yeah, now that I did read it, it means that the domains needn’t be hosted with them. Its just that the hosting & domain offers expire on March 3, 2006.
