Airtel Broadband Doubles Night Speed

Once again, it’s good news for Airtel broadband customers ! Airtel have doubled speeds for (almost) all subscribers during the night from 10:30 P.M. to 6:30 A.M. Many Airtel customers claim to have received a letter from Airtel conveying the same information, but many (myself included) have not. However, I have noticed that my speeds doubled from 256 kbps to 512 kbps during the same period, so I’m guessing that this applies to everyone, but so far, I’ve talked to customers only from the Delhi-NCR region, so I ask users in other regions to report if they are getting double speeds as well ?

In other news, the much expected January 10th overhaul of BSNL’s DataOne plans has failed to materialize, so loyal customers must now wait for the 14th which is the next likely date as it is DataOne’s first anniversary. Switch to Airtel guys !!

yep, who cares as long as you’re getting the speed. I guess you’ll get the official notification soon enough, since mail still travels a lot slower than increasing the speed which hardly takes much time!! ;)

Actually, I’ve stopped getting 512 kbps these days.

how come? maybe it was just a temporary thing or a glitch. I remember that when my LCO was updating his servers etc. sometime back, I was getting speeds of upto 200kbps though my limit is that of 128kbps!! ;)
