Windows OneCare Live!!

Windows OneCare Live is a suit from Microsoft(another one in their Windows Live program) aimed at protecting your Windows installations. It comes with an antivirus, a firewall, a backup-restore system and a tuneup module. The antivirus is ofcourse Microsoft’s own. So besides the antivirus & the firewall, the backup-restore system will allow you to backup your system settings and/or important files etc onto a CD or DVD or to an external hard-disk. If you have an external hard-disk connected to your PC all the time, then you can configure Windows OneCare to do regular backups to that hard-disk. The Tune-Up module is more of an automatic update thing, which regularly scans the PC for viruses, defragments hard-disk, deletes unneccessary files, see to it that you have the latest Windows updates & patches, check on changes in files & send you a reminder to backup or perform automatic backups if an external hard-disk is connected.
