Improved Tabbed Browsing in Bon Echo (Firefox 2)

The recently launched alpha of FireFox 2 has, amongst others, a better tabbed browsing feature derived directly from rival product Opera. Now, each tab has it’s own closing button, so it’s easier for some, but makes life harder for people like me who like closing several tabs at once.

Besides, other new features in Bon Echo include:

• Places infrastructure
• Extension blocklisting
• Extension dependencies
• Search plugin format changeover & sherlock importer
• Instrumentation infrastructure (note: blocked on server-side)
• RSS content detection
