Sex Sells!!

Yeah, whether you know it or not, Sex indeed sells better than anything else, from magazines to videos to just about anything those marketeers can imagine!! And it’ll sell in games too, big time if some are to be believed.

Till now we’ve had fantasy games where the gamers ventured into an imaginative world, slaying unearthly monsters or Stormtroopers etc. but now a new breed of games are all set to change that. In these games, a gamer will be able to flirt with other characters, date them etc. Now this has already been available in games like “Everquest” & “World of Warcraft” which also had players getting married, but nothing more. But in these new breed of games, like “Naughty America: The Game” which is set to launch soon, players will be able to flirt with other players & even have sex with them!! :shh: And if doing it in a player’s apartment is not enough, there will be “public sex zones” and themed rooms!! The game’s producer, Tina Courtney, was quoted:

We’ve got the cowboy room, the make-your-own-porn room … it doesn’t just have to be ‘Your place or mine’?

Now there’ve been games like “Playboy: The Mansion” and “VirtuallyJenna” which had sexual interaction between players but those were single player games, but this new breed of games will be multiplayer games where players would be able to play with each other online!! There are quite a few in the making & more such titles are just a matter of time.

So what we are seeing is a sort of evolution of the video games, or you can term it as next generation of gaming!!
